Daniel Marlin

Evaluator and Researcher

Dan Marlin is an Evaluator and Researcher at the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative (WEC). He performs qualitative and quantitative evaluation on several projects with school districts, DPI, and other K-12 associations and partners. Dan has extensive experience with evaluations of advanced learning (gifted and talented) programs for historically underrepresented populations, serving as an external evaluator on several federal grant projects in Milwaukee Public Schools. Other projects include evaluations of educator professional development, college and career readiness, and DPI initiatives. He also serves as the copy-editor for WEC's reports. A native of the Pittsburgh area, Dan holds a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University.
